About
Hello, I'm Saskia, and I'm a fourth year university student at Concordia University in Montreal.

I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, with a double minor in History and Professional Writing.

Writing has been a passion of mine from a very young age. I enjoyed writing short stories, and immersed myself in as many new books as possible, my ultimate favourite authors include L.M. Montgomery, Laura Ingalls Wilder, and Enid Blyton.

Most of my writing includes personal essays, personal takes on social media trends, and various opinion pieces. I discovered a passion for cooking and have combined it with my love for writing, creating a unique (and fun!) way to explore and express both interests.

Currently, I am the Opinions Editor at The Concordian, as well as the Social Media Manager at Soliloquies Anthology. Both of these positions have allowed me to see the different sides of publications: the editing and writing aspect, and the audience engagement and marketing of a publication.

I hope to continue to expand my skillset, discover different avenues of publishing, and continue to explore different genres of writing
